OK, the good news is you’re not exhibiting symptoms of the Big 3 yet which is cardiovascular disease, hypertension and diabetes. So that’s good but I have to tell you, when guys have high body fat like you do, they are almost certainly on a path to get one or more the big 3 very soon. And it just may be that you haven’t been diagnosed yet and you are already in the early stages. The high W/H ratio isn’t so good. You want to turn this around and it is completely solvable.

And you’re not alone. This is by far the largest group of guys in this group. But they are turning it around. It can be done. It does takes some time but it can certainly be done.

Now a lot of time guys want to focus on training and getting stronger. I get that. But my advice for you is to work on getting healthier first. Focus on solving the drivers of your high body fat and Big 3 issues. And what you may not know is that they all have similar lifestyle factors driving them. So when you solve one, all seem to get better.

So I’d say try to get healthier first before focusing on building muscle. It doesn't mean you shouldn’t work out along the way. You should always be working out. But, when you think about, What’s my #1 Thing? It’s getting healthy.
